In our Panhellenic community, each chapter has set dues that are decided by their National Headquarters and individual chapter Executive Council. These dues vary in amounts but generally will cover the costs of sisterhood, philanthropic and social events, National requirements and our local Panhellenic dues.
Our Panhellenic Council requires each member to pay a set amount each semester, which is voted on by the community, in order to pay for educational programs, service events and celebrations throughout each semester.
Many of our chapters give members the choice to pay their dues using payment plans. As a new member, chapter dues will be more expensive as there are some one-time expenses to become initiated into your chapter. Dues generally lower the following semester that you are officially initiated. These new costs after initiation will also vary by chapter. We highly recommend asking about finance options for each individual chapter during the recruitment process in order to get a full understanding of financial expectations and chapter-specific payment plans.
On the following pages, you will find a breakdown of each UNCW chapter’s new member and initiated member dues.
