Kappa Delta | Theta Xi

Kappa Delta was founded at Longwood University (formerly known as the State Female Normal School) on October 23, 1897 as the first sorority on campus. Kappa Delta works with the Girl Scouts of the USA and Prevent Child Abuse America as their nationally recognized philanthropy partners. UNCW gets a special visit each spring by members of the Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines when they sell cookies alongside Kappa Delta sisters on campus to students and faculty.
